AI & Content Policy
AI & Content Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
This AI & Content Policy explains how CORWRITERS ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") generates content, what its limitations are, and what's expected of you when you use it. It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Use.
1. Purpose
CORWRITERS turns the details and instructions you provide into written content using third-party artificial intelligence models. This Policy sets out how that process works, what it can and can't be relied on for, and the standards we expect generated content to be used within.
2. How Content Is Generated
When you use a template, built-in or your own custom template, your inputs are combined with that template's instructions and sent to the AI model you selected to generate your result. Depending on the model you choose, that request is processed by a model from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. These providers process your input solely to generate the content you requested; see our Privacy Policy for more detail on how your information is shared.
3. Accuracy and Limitations of AI-Generated Content
AI-generated content is produced by statistical language models, not by a person who has verified the facts. As a result:
- Generated content may contain factual errors, outdated information, or statements that sound confident but are incorrect
- Generated content may reflect patterns, including biases, present in the data the underlying model was trained on
- The Services do not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, even when generated content is phrased that way
- Content generated using artificial intelligence may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions
We do not guarantee that any generated content is accurate, complete, unbiased, or fit for a particular purpose.
4. Your Responsibility When Using Generated Content
You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing any content before you publish it, send it, or otherwise rely on it, especially where accuracy genuinely matters: public statements, claims about products or services, anything directed at a specific person, or content touching on legal, medical, or financial topics. Treat every generation as a draft from a fast but fallible collaborator, not a finished, verified final product.
5. Ownership of Generated Content
As set out in our Terms of Use, you retain rights to the content you generate using CORWRITERS, subject to the limitations described there and in this Policy. You're responsible for ensuring your use of that content doesn't infringe a third party's rights, and for understanding that copyright protection for AI-generated material varies by jurisdiction and may be limited or unavailable.
6. Prohibited Uses of AI-Generated Content
In addition to the restrictions in our Acceptable Use Policy, you may not use CORWRITERS to:
- Generate content designed to impersonate a real, specific person without their consent
- Generate disinformation intended to mislead the public about a factual matter, including elections or public health
- Generate content designed to evade a third-party platform's own rules on AI-generated or synthetic content, where that platform requires disclosure
- Present AI-generated content as independently verified fact, research, or journalism when it has not been reviewed or verified by you
Where a platform you publish to, or a law that applies to you, requires disclosure that content was AI-assisted, such as some advertising, political, or review-platform rules, you're responsible for making that disclosure. We don't track or enforce every third-party platform's individual rules on your behalf.
7. Data Used to Generate Content
Your inputs and the resulting outputs are sent to the AI provider only to fulfill that specific generation request. We do not sell your inputs or outputs. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the performance and reliability of the Services. See our Privacy Policy for the complete picture of how your data is handled.
8. Human Oversight
CORWRITERS is built to assist your writing, not to replace your judgment about what gets published under your name or your business's name. We encourage treating every generated result as a starting point: read it, verify anything that matters, and edit it until it genuinely reflects what you intend to say.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as our AI providers, models, or practices change. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
