Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") explains what you may and may not do when using CORWRITERS ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), including our AI content generation tools, custom templates, and any other feature of the Services. It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Use.

1. Purpose and Scope

CORWRITERS exists to help people write better, faster. This Policy exists to keep that capability from being used to cause harm, to others, to third parties, or to the platform itself. It applies to everyone who accesses the Services, including users on a Free Trial plan, paid subscribers, and anyone using a custom template.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use CORWRITERS to generate, store, or distribute content that:

  • Is illegal under applicable law, or that facilitates illegal activity
  • Sexualizes or exploits minors in any way
  • Harasses, threatens, bullies, or incites violence against any individual or group
  • Is defamatory, or that you know to be false and intend to present as fact
  • Impersonates a real person, business, or organization without their consent
  • Infringes another party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious code, or is designed to gain unauthorized access to a computer system
  • Promotes discrimination or hatred on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics

3. Prohibited Uses of the Platform

You may not:

  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent a Free Trial's usage limits, word credits, or any other plan restriction
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Services outside of normal, individual use
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or resell access to the underlying AI models that power the Services
  • Share your account credentials with others, or use another person's account without authorization
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to CORWRITERS systems, or to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without our prior written permission
  • Use the Services to build a competing product by systematically extracting prompts, templates, or generated output at scale

4. Generated Content Remains Your Responsibility

CORWRITERS generates content based on the instructions and information you provide. We do not pre-screen every output before it reaches you. This means the obligations in Sections 2 and 3 apply to what you do with what you generate, not only to what you type in. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing generated content before you publish, send, or otherwise rely on it, consistent with the AI-generated content disclaimers in our Terms of Use and our AI & Content Policy.

5. Custom Templates

If you build or use a custom template through our Custom Template Creator, the prompt you write and the content it generates are subject to this Policy in exactly the same way as our built-in templates. A custom template may not be designed, worded, or configured to produce content that would otherwise violate Section 2.

6. Reporting a Violation

If you believe another user is violating this Policy, or if you've found generated content that concerns you, contact us at the email below. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include warning, suspending, or terminating the account involved.

7. Consequences of Violation

Violating this Policy may result in removal of the relevant content, suspension or termination of your account as described in our Terms of Use, and, where the law requires or permits it, a report to the relevant authorities. We reserve the right to take these steps at our discretion, without prior notice, where we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect the Services, our users, or third parties.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
